Your role is to discover as much as you can about

Stress and Anxiety Reduction

When you are finished you need to be able to:

  • explain what is meant by stress and anxiety
  • Analyse the body’s reaction to stress
  • outline  a number of personal strategies which can be used to address feelings of stress.
Help your class mates to:
  •  recognise and/or identify situations in which they feel stressed or anxious
  • identify how they can develop personal strategies to address feelings of stress
  • Reflect on the effect of physical activity on anxiety levels
  • Participate in physical activities which may reduce anxiety and stress
  • Consider the ways in which physical activity help you feel better.
